- East Coast retail asphalt and flux markets moved higher in most locations this week.
- Wholesale prices for asphalt and flux are assessed for the beginning of January.
- Midwest markets mostly cold and snow covered–few selling range adjustments made.
- Midwest wholesale asphalt prices head higher for January. Roofing flux prices are mixed.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux pricing were mostly firmer across the region.
- Wholesale asphalt and flux pricing in the Gulf Coast increased to start January.
- Rockies retail prices mostly flat–some lower in Arizona. Wholesale prices rise for January.
- Some prices go higher in California, as State Crude Index soars. Hawaii slips lower.
- Western Canada asphalt retail prices are static. Alberta wholesale prices rise for January.
- Eastern Canada retail prices are steadfast to start the New Year.
- Oil prices vary little this week. Feb WTI closes at $53.70 a bbl, off 19 cents. March WTI ends at $54.58 a bbl. March Western Canadian Select (WCS) ends near $39 FOB Alberta.
- March Brent crude firms to $57.10 a bbl—up 28 cents this week.
