- East Coast retail asphalt prices weaker in some areas, with flux prices mostly steady.
- Wholesale asphalt prices on the East Coast are stronger, with flux prices unchanged.
- Midwest retail markets were mixed, depending upon location and supplier. Some suppliers cut prices while others increased them for April.
- Midwest wholesale asphalt and flux prices firmed for April and the selling ranges increased.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices slip in some locations this week.
- Asphalt and flux barge prices are assessed strong for the week on the Gulf Coast.
- Rockies retail prices mostly steady, but reductions were noted in Arizona and New Mexico.
- Rocky Mountain wholesale prices were steady or reported slightly higher for April.
- West Coast asphalt prices were flat in most areas. A few selling ranges were adjusted.
- Western Canada selling/posted prices are lower in some areas. Alberta wholesale widened.
- Eastern Canada retail prices are steady. Posted prices are expected to resume April 12.
- Crude oil prices continued to fall—May WTI closed at $36.63 a bbl, off $2.83 vs. last week.
- June Brent crude ended at $38.67 a bbl, down $1.77 vs. last week’s May Brent closing.
- May WCS fell more than $3, to just over $23 a bbl FOB Alberta, ($13.25 below May WTI).
